I've played the majority of the MSQ as miqote. Compared to that the au ra face is very... unemotive. Also, in the default state its kind of blankly staring into nothing, but to be fair I did customize to emphasize this feature. Also, also, as others mentioned its most(ly) noticable in the two more popular face/horn types, one of which I'm (and you are) using.

Do note that this is only concerning the face. The body language is very cutsey and feminine in the japanese sense.

I don't mind the forward horned face too much, but that weird one with the big horns that are really.. the horns look ugly and the face is.. weird.

People get weirdly defensive at the idea that a race they play would become even slightly less popular. I've never seen the phrase "once the hype dies down" so many times in such a short span of time.

It's certainly pretty blah when every female character I see looks exactly the same. Same face, same hair, etc., so it will be nice to see some fresh faces. And taller women. Ones that don't look like teenagers or kids. Ones that my character wouldn't have to strain his neck just to look down at.

I have played as every single female race except for roe, and lalafell. I actually quite like elezen in particular, whenever I play around with making alts just to see how they look in-game elezen is actually usually my favorite choice. If you have the right outfit combination, elezen can look great.

My race is not the popular one, it is the sun seeker that are popular, not us moon keeper. However, I am just curious to see how many ppl will switch to Viera, since it have been a high demand on forum, yet, it turn out to be not the Viera some ppl want

TBH, I only ever use one hairstyle on my Au Ra and I already like more hairstyles that are currently present on Viera, so I should be okay :P

You see, I actually do sadly get emotional attachments to my pixels, I am always bouncing between my Au Ra and Miqo'te, however I like Viera more than both, so I am hoping that Viera will finally end my Fantasia addiction. Maybe I have been bouncing because I hadn't found something quite right for me yet, and I feel like Viera is right
