Fite Me.
Bring it on!
I am torn between lizard and bunny girls due to Au Ra cutesy mannerisms and short height.
... but then bunny girls dont have horns and the dead eyes so.
yeah for about a week until the newness wears off and theyre back to catgirl again
I think the eye focus on some of the Au Ra models isn't quite right, and that's what makes them end up looking a bit lifeless.
It might depend on the specific eye shape selection as well.
Animations will make a lot of people change again.
I don't think animations are a mitigating factor against playing any race except possibly Elezen and that's more symptomatic of their odd proportions. If animations were, however, a big draw then many more would be Thighlander as we arguably have the most expressive in the game, but it's obviously something more.

Anyway, emotes being very expressive isn't everything, I actually shied away from both Highlander and Miqo'te because of how hyperactive their emotes are. Au Ra, Viera and Elezen animations (with the exception of Elezen run/sprint) are much more how I like them.
It is for me. One of the things that turns me off of Viera is how... subdued their emotes are. Objectively, it probably fits Viera perfectly, it's very elegant and proper, but personally I like the Au Ra brand of dainty and cute more. And of course the Miqo'te overacting is just pure fun, everything they do looks so extra.I don't think animations are a mitigating factor against playing any race except possibly Elezen and that's more symptomatic of their odd proportions. Personally I'd say Aura is still too expressive. Or just cutesy? I like the deadpan face and dead fish eyes, but some of the body language is way too feminine in comparison.*snorts* "Thighlander"

People are a draw to cute and feminine stuff in general, that's why the most three common races are Midlander, Au Ra and Miqote. If you ask me the problem with Highlander are the faces (is the main reason I finally going to change to Viera).I don't think animations are a mitigating factor against playing any race except possibly Elezen and that's more symptomatic of their odd proportions. Anyway, after watching most Viera emotes https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0NejEm8c96c I totally believe some will change back to their old race because of it. Personally, I like them.
