Pretty much this. China doesn't recognize international copyrights like other people have said and won't do anything to stop people inside their country from profiting off of what isn't theirs. Best SE can do is make a note of what's happening and try to encourage it's fans not to bootleg for their own safety.

They do read the forums. IIRC, they stated Yoshi-P gets a weekly summary of the posts on here. Just because they don't respond to EVERY LITTLE THING PEOPLE COMPLAIN ABOUT doesn't mean they don't listen to the feedback.

However, China is well known for never accepting any legal complaints about copyright infringement.

China will sell you more or less anything that is a thing, at questionable reproduction values, for barely above the cost of production.


But its really not a good idea to BUY those things.
