I will still play it I think.
It looks fun, and I'll be one of the 1% players that plays MCH. Still more edgy than the DRK![]()

My hope got crush by reading it. Only dps I got hype. Thanks Devs to test jobs under 20 ping and release it. It show our feedback goes somewhere right? I thought this game could be play under 200 ping. Already MCH got gated by invisible wall named "ping" for somewhat for decent performance. You guys have zero empathy for high ping player and think everyone is close to DC.
I mean isn't that sorta how it is for the entire game?My hope got crush by reading it. Only dps I got hype. Thanks Devs to test jobs under 20 ping and release it. Most games really.
If you have a high ping then you're always playing at a disadvantage, it's not really their fault.
There's some cases where gameplay mechanics can cause it to become even more clunky ( like mudra's for Ninja for example ).
But at the same time, why should their game design and the rest of us getting interesting gameplay mechanics be sacrificed because some of you have a bad connection?
I am probably a bit extra salty about players with poor connection because I am mainly a fighting game player, and people with poor connections drive me crazy and can really ruin the games for everyone that they play with.
But yeah, I don't think that games should first and foremost be designed for people with a poor connection.
If they have to choose between doing what they want to do with the classes and gameplay mechanics and between making it a bit easer on people with high ping then they should go with the former imo.
Edit: Also, I am in Sweden.
So I am not even in the same country as the servers usually. And games with proper servers all run fine for me.

There's actually one more possibility, assuming Wildfire still acts like a DoT like it does now: Raid buffs are snapshot at the time of placement.
Since Wildfire now has a potency per weapon skill, it is plausible that the Wildfire debuff could snapshot buffs when it is placed like other DoTs do instead of snapshotting when it deals damage.
Ah, true. I knew I was forgetting something. I was sure there was a 4th option that had come up in discussions but couldn't for the life of me remember what it was. There's actually one more possibility, assuming Wildfire still acts like a DoT like it does now: Raid buffs are snapshot at the time of placement.

That also sounds pretty good as it wouldn't be as ping dependent. (Actually like it more than explosion at the end mattering)
Taking this chance, I was playing a bit with the Hotbar planing simulator and came to notice that... there are a lot less buttons to place huh?
I'm a total noob when it comes to MCH other than the general outline of the job, so, have anyone thought out an opener out of boredom with whats to come?
You'll find the latest on MCH theorycrafting at the Balance discord. There's a few possibilities we're considering but since there are things we don't know about Wildfire and Automaton Queen so nothing has been finalized.
I know what I mean :P okay, I'll word it more carefully this time. Once they'd been able to do the big overhaul come expansion time, THEN they were super swift in addressing Bards issues _with the new 4.0 version_, giving me the impression that they really wanted to make sure they were happy after they were restricted on how much they could change in 3.X while knowing people weren't satisfied. Obviously there was only so much they could do after the foundation was laid in 3.0, much as there was only so much they were willing to do with MCH in 4.0. Now that they can finally uproot MCH from the ground, I hope that - like Bard - they are swift in acting on any glaring issues right away. Issues with the new version. Italics.
Well, it feels like stones thrown my way but I have a hard skull.
So you mean that BRDs were pampered after the 3.x traumas and quickly addressed their 4.x series issues after the 4.0 overhaul.
And expect that hopefully MCH will be as quickly addressed on 5.x series with this 5.0 overhaul with a similar treatment. (Or maybe on the 6.x series after some 5.0 traumas)
