That's strange that some items are marked as qualifying for the DLC when they don't actually qualify. Amazon needs to fix that. I had a hard time finding a game I wanted because I didn't want something that I could get on PC.
I purchased Shadow of the Colossus for $18.60, on the item page, it shows that it's elgible for the DLC, but the price is under $19.99, and I didn't receive a code.
I purchased another game, Persona 5 for $19.99 which met the minimum price requirement and a few hours later, I got an email with a DLC code. The email specified it was for Persona 5, so I know I didn't get a code for the other game.

Amazon.com's finicky like that. People have used vpns to make it look like they're using a US ip to get some of the items to show up as in stock. I'm not sure if you need a seemingly US based account as well though.
The price after discount and before tax and such is tacked on must be $19.99 or higher for their system to recognize that it qualifies and email you the code. You should see something on the checkout page that mentions you've qualified for the chocobo:That's strange that some items are marked as qualifying for the DLC when they don't actually qualify. It would be good if they could tweak their system to not show the promotion on discounted items that dip below the required trigger amount.

Oh, but don't you know? No Canadians play FFXIV! Perish the thought!
I say this as a Canadian who plays FFXIV.

I have a theory on that , that maybe if your total of those items is over 19.99 then you qualify for the mount.. but I bought mine too fast and I can't test that theory now. That's strange that some items are marked as qualifying for the DLC when they don't actually qualify. WHERE IS THIS KETTLE EVERYONE KEEPS INTRODUCING ME TO?

Doesn't work, has to be a single qualifying item $19.99 or higher, after discount and before taxes, etc..
Edit: Ariane proved me wrong below, but you have to check the cart to see what mix of items actually qualify and it seems to be extremely particular about which items can be combined to trigger the promotion.

Confirmed personally? Just curious. I have several people I know who are "eh" on getting it or not but before going through the rigamarole of finding things for them to buy I'd love it if someone has already tried.

I'm just going by the cart. Even though I've already done the promotion, I can still see what would qualify by going to the checkout. The image I posted a few posts earlier was taken after I had already received a promotional code.
I put both the Shadow of the Colossus and one of the Sims 4 items, both of which have the promotion on their product pages, but neither of which is over $19.99 on their own in the cart and went to checkout. No mention of the promotion anywhere, so it didn't trigger it.

If I put two copies of Celeste ($$13.39) in the cart, at check out it says it qualifies for the mount. When Cuphead was still on sale (below 19.99), Celeste + Cuphead said it qualified too. Some reason the Nintendo Switch games seem to work, but not othersI'm just going by the cart. Even though I've already done the promotion, I can still see what would qualify by going to the checkout.
