    Make sure you sleep in an inn before launch day that way you wake up with rested xp.

    Also make sure you either have a decent amount of gil or aetheryte tokens for all those 999 teleports.

    This has not been a requirement for rested xp since 2.1. Rested XP is generated within a main city or in the vicinity of any Aetheryte (a sanctuary). A moon icon appears next to the xp bar to indicate this, and the message "You have entered a sanctuary." appears in chat.
