I'm taking Lore way too seriously. And I'm not sorry about that.
They had explicitly stated they were delayed before though. We haven't heard anything yet this time. I just hope it isn't an oversight and they completely forgot.
I doubt it's an oversight. They know people will go ballistic otherwise. I imagine they have until Monday at best to get the names out before the forums start exploding like they did last time.
And if they even mention male Viera or female Hrothgar, it will bring back oil on the flames of these support topics in the forum too. I understand they might want to avoid conflicts ;D
Unless I am mistaken weren't they mentioned in the lore tidbits during the benchmark?
Yes, they were.
Directly quoted from the Wiki ;
It is estimated that around 80% of Viera are born female. Their physiology; however, only begin to differentiate at around the age of 13 and their puberty. It is at around that age that the male Viera will be taken under the wings of an older male to train in the ways of the Wood-warders.
The funny thing is that the ONLY Hrothgar name we know of is Queen Gunhildr's, so at least for the Hroths they already have naming conventions for both genders![]()
