There will be no changes to the proportion of tri-disasters and miasma3/bio3 hardcasts in our rotation. Out of the 4 dot resets every 2 minutes, 3 will be tri-disaster and 1 will be a manual hardcast. This is exactly the same as Stormblood summoner.

More festers is kinda nice, but energy drain is also a worse version of aetherflow because if there's no target to hit, you can't generate charges. This will mean that on fights with many breaks like the current ultimates, you would probably have gotten more festers in the current system.

15s of instant spells every 60s is exactly the same as what we have now in Stormblood. In fact, you technically get more than that right now, an extra 20s to spam instants because you're 'forced' to use ruin2 when bahamut is active. In Shadowbringers that won't be the case and you will want to ruin3 when bahamut is active. So, we'll actually have shorter instant spamming periods in 5.0.

Our AoE does seem to be looking slightly better, so we have that going for us I suppose.

The most important change however is that in Shadowbringers the difference between ruin2 and ruin3 is now 70 potency. Currently, it's only 20 potency making using ruin 2 to weave ogcds extremely painless. In 5.0, using it carelessly for movement when you could've cast ruin3 will put a severe dent in your dps, and it means you also pay a higher penalty when using it to weave ogcds (you still want to, of course). As you can clearly see from the above, summoners are definitely not getting any better in the 'instant' department in 5.0.
