TACKLE BOX PLEASE

Someone mentioned in another thread that if they gave us a tackle box then people would be asking for other specific types of storage like a storage for skins or for threads/cloths, etc.

As much as I'd really love to have a tackle box, I can see their point.

Isn't the whole point to improve quality of life?

I don't see how its an issue.

And nobody bring up the "terrible coding"

I'm just tired of hearing that tired excuse every single time someone makes a suggestion.

I don't think it has to do with terrible coding, just having excessive menus for simple things. Personally I wouldn't want to have to check 15 different inventories just to see if I have something in stock.

That's not really a fair comparison though. All classes fill up inventory over time. Be it from mining ore, catching fish, or just killing mobs for drops. Fishing requires bait though (of which there are many, MANY types) which means your inventory could be half full before you even start.

At the same time you don't have to carry every type of bait you have every time you go fishing, just what you need for the area you're in. I understand the concern about this, I was a fisher for the entirety of ARR and juggled inventory space constantly, but then I learned to optimize for what I needed when I needed it.

Edit: How is having an inventory full of bait any different from having an inventory full of crafting mats?

True, but unless you're tossing and rebuying stacks of bait every time you still have to keep that bait somewhere. Just because you're not carrying an item with you doesn't mean it's not taking up inventory space.

I tend to only buy the bait I need once I realized a bait box isn't coming any time soon. I'm not arguing against having one, I've wanted one since I started playing, I'm just playing devil's advocate.

Well with ARR bait being consolidated into one universal one and the devs already being interested in doing so for HW and SB in the future you are getting the closest thing to that bait box.
