For everyone who would like to see this sort of collaboration, how do you imagine it taking form?

We have had a lot of collaborations so far, ranging from Dragon Quest to Monster Hunter to FFXV and FFT.

• Single FATE and tokens?
• Multiple FATEs and tokens?
• Instance fights?
• Mog Station / Premium Items?
• Involve lesser FFXIV npcs?
• Involve famous FFXIV npcs? (Godbert? Cid? A reporter? Possibly pixies?)
• Involve SoM npcs? (Watts the blacksmith? Neko the merchant? King Truffle? maybe the elementals? Flammie? There is a large cast.)
• Multipart Story?
• What enemies? (The Mana Beast? The Dark Lich?)

I used to like to think of Hydaelyn as a goddess or representation of the planet, similar to the Goddess of Love in Legend of Mana (Fa diel?). The two might converse about the events going on in their respective worlds. Should a character from one world some how be displaced, they might be shepherded by each world's protagonists back to where they belong.

When in a different world, the characters would adopt the aesthetics of that world, while retaining enough of their own to be identifiable. Flat out bringing the cartoony humans of SoM to the more realistic FFXIV might be a large gap to close without some artistic license.

I'd love to see a multipart story instead of limited seasonal event. Not a 24 man raid kind of story, maybe something more like Eureka. FATEs could include all sorts of iconic enemies from SoM. The forest of seasons is a candidate location as it includes a moogle village as something that could tie the two worlds together. The Pure Land may be viable for all sorts of reasons and offers a connection to the Mana Tree itself.

I'm just trying to get the conversation started. What do you imagine for this sort of collaboration? Be as realistic or unreasonable as you want. Let your imagination run wild! All I ask is that you be respectful of other people's ideas, even if you disagree with them.
