I think if we got an official piece like this for XIV's summoner it'll definitely show a lot of love is going into the art direction/design of the game, which quite honestly many MMOs lately just plain don't show.

It's more the art style representation, since it's a beautiful way to represent a summoner and if you know his work you'd know there'd obviously be a summoner thrown into it as well.
