You are more likely to get the Black Omen as a raid if it were a Chrono Trigger collab. Lavos could compete with Omega for the title of "big bad that fell out of the sky and was not Dalamud"I'd love a SoM collaboration! The new chocobo actually gave me a smooshed flammie feel hahaha (that's not to say I didn't like it, I thought they looked cool and am excited to get one).
Also Chrono Trigger crossover would be neat :3... I know an entire town would be way too much for a simple cross over but I really really want a Zeal like location (I had hoped FFXIV would let me make a personal housing area like that).
Maybe if they remake Chrono Trigger...
And with how many fans want a Chrono Trigger remake, and there was an actual attempt at parts of a remake Square wouldn't even have to do all the work.
I like all these suggestions I'd also not mind seeing other square or enix nods in the future.
Speaking of Old Square games
Anyone Remember Secret of Evermore, Or Brave Fencer Musashi, Threads of Fate, Radatia Stories wouldnt mind seeing bits of those in XIV

"Sometimes I wonder I heal for fun. or if I heal because I'm a glutton for punishment."
Laser Toaster Dog? Yeah, Cid would definitely be involved some how.
I want a boss named. F.A.T.E with his boss music. >.>
Secret of Mana was one of my favourite games of all time- on the SNES I only liked FFVI more. As much as I loved it though, if I were to choose something from the SNES I think I'd pick SD3 or Chrono Trigger first. The first because, hey, remake coming and it finally being brought over here, and imo if it had been on the SNES as a child I would have liked it more than SoM. Chrono Trigger is perhaps the more popular choice- and with so many great locations and memorable characters I'd love to see either an Allagan style 'Zeal' fortress, Magus' castle, or even a simple Lavos 'primal' trial. I mean, Lavos was a multiple phase fight, you'd barely have to change a thing.
Flammie mount would be pretty epic too.
Oh my gosh, Secret of Mana on the SNES was such a great game! I remember it just as fondly as I remember Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy VI, and Final Fantasy IV. I haven't touched the remake due to a lot of the problems that it seems to have, but a Flammie mount would be SO DANG AWESOME.
I've been waiting for a colab between this and GTA.
Letter from the Producer LIVE Part IX Q&A Summary (10/30/2013)
Q: Will there be any maintenance fees or other costs for housing, besides the cost of the land and house?
A: In older MMOs, such as Ultima Online, there was a house maintenance fee you had to pay weekly, but in FFXIV: ARR we decided against this system. Similarly, these older MMOs also had a system where your house would break down if you didn’t log in after a while in order to have you continue your subscription, but this is a thing of the past and we won't have any system like that.
yeah no because I don't think any of those were ever released in europe.
