I agree that the timer isn't visible or annoying enough. They can stick a UI bit on the screen that asks you if you want to teleport but not one to remind you about your house? Ehh. Not a problem for me as I enter my house and FC house daily, but I still find it shocking that the timer is stuck on a tab I'd never seen before.
