SE: Can we get back skip cutscene in Main Scenarios?

It's been said before but I think the best solution is to extend Trusts to ARR content so that new players can go at their preferred pace through Castrum / Prae and cutscene skipping option can be enabled again. Then, finally, the main scenario roulette can be removed and nobody needs to be bribed to help out there any more. Trusts would also help a lot in those ARR leveling dungeons which start out very slow even for absolute beginners. There are bosses that have standing around doing nothing built into them like the first two bosses of Copperbell, just waiting around for enemies to spawn. In those situations Trusts with dialogue during the duties could make it more interesting and immersive, and again you can avoid having to bribe veteran players to go back to those beginner duties which are far below their skill and experience level.

Or you know veteran players can get off their high horse and actually play all the content because at one time THEY were those new players and people did those dungeons as vets and helped get them through that. Just saying acting like you're better and that you don't want to mingle with the plebeians is NOT the direction to take the community in.

If you sign up as undersized party OR solo, I feel SE should allow the option to skip.

If you are doing the duty finder roulette, then keep them mandatory.

I personally never agreed with the mandatory cut scene being added back into those msq duties. Right or wrong, I do not agree with it.
BUT since it is currently forced in duties, and players are well aware of that, a fair compromise would be allowing to skip in the 2 conditions I mentioned.

A group of friends in an FC wanting to help another member get through the MSQ wall without wasting several hours of their life is a pretty good incentive. Making the thing optional, but not highly rewarding (or even rewarding at all beyond the comfort of helping someone), allows people who just want to get through the story fast clicking out of everything to do so. If they added too many incentives to this method then people would be forcing it as the only viable way to go through the MSQ and we'd be back at step one again.

I was under the impression that Trusts are 4 person content, not 8 person. Where did you hear otherwise?

That way we have a fast MSQ duty worth a ton of exp, and first time players can always enjoy the Praetorium cutscenes. Or skip them at their leisure.

If they go that route, you will no longer have a fast MSQ duty worth a ton of XP. The current 'ton' of XP is compensation for having to view the cut-scenes.

If I saw someone say to kick sprouts, especially in Cast or Prae, I would, at the earliest possible chance, initiate a vote kick on the person saying to kick the sprout. I am not OK with trashing sprouts, even from other sprouts. I know your reply is not to me, but I wanted to respond to this specifically.

Back before this change it was kind of stressful on me to queue for the main story Quest roulettes...

Whenever we had a new player I felt obligated to stand up for them, which usually meant I would be pitting myself against most of the party, just so that the new player could experience the content as the devs intended.

Since this change, the roulette has been much more relaxed.

I believe if there is a new player in the group (first time bonus reward) then cutscenes should be mandatory. But if no one in the group is new, then there should be the option to skip the cutscenes. I don’t see a point in forcing something on people who aren’t new to the content.
