    Personally I don't mind the 1.5 gcd. I just don't like the heat blast spam. I liked how during wildfire there was just a slew of animations going on my only real issue was flamethrower and how you needed to use it to overheat and needed to immediately activate Wildfire and go, the lack of control MCH had pre lv62 with their heat since Cooldown was the only way for you to prevent overheating to early so once you unlocked Gauss Barrel to when you unlocked Cooldown MCH was just broken, and lastly the lack of gadgets and general use of the turrets outside of Hypercharge/Overdrive. Still love the job though and honestly these changes aren't perfect but they are still better imo.

    I kinda agree with AvenoMatt. My biggest problem was Wildfire before and if that's far easier to work around then cool, I'm going back to MCH.

    But I'm causal so I'm not really sure I understand the problem with Rapid Fire and 1.5 GCD, and weaving Off GCDs in and out and all that. I just really hated being expected to have everything line up with Wildfire or you're way behind expected DPS.

    If MCH still expects you to weave everything together and then sit for a minute for everything to reset, I'll stay with DRG. Or Even Ninja, it's Trick Attack is less punishing.

    The skill ceiling might be higher, but it seems the floor is lower, and that's what MCH's problem was, it's floor was too high.

    I loved MCH at 50 and to some degree up to level 60. The 121323, and the rapidfire>wildfire>reassemble, and placing your turret. It was fun and rewarding because you could fit everything you had into Wildfire.
    Overheat and heat management ruined all that and made it a chore to play at a basic level. You're severely punished if multiple gauges, some time based, some action based, don't line up perfectly.

    If overheat is both easier to manage, and less stringent on timing (as in, you don't need to line it up with too many other things) then that's the main bonus to take away.

    You know, funny thing is that lore wise this is supposed to be a job for everyone to have power. So that even the weakest can fight... yet the job seems way more selective than Ishgard's Royalty and its Heavensward :v

    As I remember it people were very vocal early on, and then it kinda got quiet as expansion went on and people realized nothing major would happen until 5.0, and mch just became the background meme you'd bring up every now and then.
    As much as we can criticize it on paper I can't wait to get my hands on it and actually try how it feels to play

    I meant in early Stormblood, it seemed like bards problems were addressed unusually fast, which I saw as a sign of... repentance? :P they were, granted, more easily fixable issues. But I like to think it's our turn for special attention.
