The better solution to not losing your estate is to just go into your house once every 45 days rather than adding in all these features to promote not actively using the house.

I agree to disagree with this statement. Chilling on your property while queuing should be allowed. No neglect in that. It should be looked at as how you enjoy using your property inside and out.

They have no way to register you are sitting on the outside area of your plot.

If all you want to do is sit outside, you can always make use of someone else's house.

Effectively, you aren't using the house and so there is no need for you to have that plot when it could go to someone who would be using it.

Edit: maybe get a friend to make you tenant at their house so you can redecorate the outside to your liking without the responsibility of entering the house?

If they did not know where you Que from you would not make it back to the same spot after run is done. Every item you interact with is a trigger including your movements.

Sitting on your yard is not interacting with the plot. When you click your door and enter your estate, the game has a specific action sent to the server that you have entered your house. That is how they register you interacting with the plot. Not standing idle in your yard because anyone can do that, and it sends no specific flag to the server.

Just go into your house, dude. I don't understand your aversion to doing something so simple.

Just my opinion but having the timer reset by being on the property or giving a Big pop up message just screams lazy. People who want to keep their Home make sure the enter routinely demo or not, they also keep up with demo's activation and deactivation.
