It's like you people want your "but it's fantasy" cake and then refuse to accept some of the other implications of this, namely the availability of classes which channel aetheric power, and magic equipment which augments certain traits. The guy is not just some random lalafell with a sword, either, but a high ranking Flames member.None of it matters - for the WoL. Again, to drive home this point, the claim is not that females cannot excel in combat roles in the game; just that that isn't because it throws out all the usual rules of biology but because aether can act as a leg up, and because you have other confounding factors like the Echo or BoL; but it doesn't alter the fact that this kind of training and equipment is not readily available, especially if you're a group of tribal warriors. So it would not alter group-wide strategies on how to handle combat - and in that context, the Buduga strategy is certainly a viable one.
I fail to see how the squadron members differ, particularly when they're not even necessarily canon, but where you could apply similar explanations - since you're outfitting them and funding their training.Ok, what about other lalafell npcs like in your squadron? It really doesn't matter because it's just a game.
These little dwarf people would never realistically be effective in any sort of combat situation.
and if you're saying muscle mass doesn't matter because of training or equipment, then it shouldn't matter for a slimmer male viera, either. Just give them the right training and/or equipment.
On the last point, I'm not even discussing slimmer male Viera, but... I already touched on that point, because then you're adding in additional time and cost constraints that don't exist if the males are simply physically stronger. In the context of the race's evolutionary history, it may have not even been that simple a matter. They can certainly write it, that way, if they want to - but it's still not a costless strategy, nor is it a riskless one.

When the game's story becomes self-aware:

As for Lalafell, a lot of FATE descriptions detail that they're often swallowed whole by monsters out in the wilds. I think Lauront's points are fair and very well thought out.
In lalafell lore, it's specifically stated that they have the same strength as a midlander, I believe. It's biological. In the real world, we have little people and they are about just as strong as the rest of us. Some of them are stronger, some are weaker. It's how it is.Ok, what about other lalafell npcs like in your squadron? It really doesn't matter because it's just a game.
