References in Shadowbrings: What do you want to see?

As is the case with most, if not all, of the expansions there are tonnes of references to older Final Fantasy and even some more obscure Square titles (Like Vagrant Story for example) whether is music, characters, place names, bosses and so on.

Gunbreaker is already a large reference to FF8, as is Eden and the Dwarves are also a reference to the recurring race throughout the FF series, as some examples.

So I put it to you all; what other references do you want to see this time around? Any particular musical tracks you want to hear? Characters you want to encounter? Bosses you want to fight? Or even references to in game events like the Festival of the Hunt (IX) or the Monster Arena (X)?

Keep it clean and don't be a dick!

Two things I wanna see.

"Junction to Griever" as a spell/action from a mob & "Man/Woman with the Machine Gun" as a Title.

That'd be a pretty neat title to get for MCH at level 80! I didn't think about that.

Afaik we've had very little FF9 content. I wouldn't mind seeing something like Kuja > Trance Kuja in Eden. Maybe they could sneak in the 'Something To Protect' track somewhere as well, even if only as an Orchestration.

i hope we dont just get bosses that are references to old games just to be references i would much rather have new content with smaller references sprinkled in there is alot of bosses in ff9 that would mae good dungeon bosses as long as they keep the references few and far between and not like omega and ivalice ill be happy (also i really want to see the armstrong enemy implemented in this game)

It's about time, Anima and Magus Sisters from FFX make an appearance.

I think Sin from FFX would also be quite fitting to be brought into Shadowbringers, given all the themes revolved around the monsters in ShB.

Personally, I've been waiting for a Battle Arena like the ones that we had in FFVI, FFVII and FFIX (single character AKA solo arena, and preferably the latter versions without the "auto" system that VI had). I always wanted Ul'dah's Coliseum to be the place holding such thing, but in the end only BLU got something similar there.

Maybe someday they'll have the time and resources to make it happen.
