Trust Companions of 2.0 to 4.X

We've had the Scions accompany us in solo instances before, but I think the Trust system is the first time we could pick and choose which roles we want them to fill, like the Command Squadron missions. I wonder if (in the remote possibility that they do update older content with Trusts) they'll change those.

Examples I can think of offhand are the Heavensward part where we rescue Raubahn, and also the Warring Triad questline where we revisit the ARF.

We probably won't be able to use Trusts for Primal trials, though. Including the three as part of the levelling ARR MSQ.

Ya they said they will not make Trust work for anything except for Dungeons so neither Trials nor Raids. Those things got to be pure players.

As of 5.0 we are getting the bare bone version of it for only 5.0 MSQ but plans are in place to make it work for 2.0 to 4.X MSQ dungeons and other Dungeons outside of MSQ.

The normal modes of Ifrit, Titan, and Garuda are considered dungeons. I've gotten them a lot in leveling roulette recently, and I think they're all 4-man.

You do get them in leveling roulette since they're 4 player content, but for the challenge log at least they don't count as a dungeon.

While they do appear in Leveling Roulette and are 4-person instances, they are considered trials by the game, as they're included in the "Trials" slot in DF. Their inclusion in Leveling Roulette probably has to do with issues regarding the number of people - all other trials are 8-person content, and the roulette probably isn't designed to handle both 4 and 8 person content in one roulette.

DR:Guildhests and DR:Mentor handle parties of (4 or 8) and (4, 8, or 24) just fine.

Right, forgot about those; my bad. Not sure why they're in Leveling Roulette, then, other than they're different from other trials.
