I probably shouldn't have come in here.
Sounds like a good time to drop out of media discussions and just wait to take it all in as it comes.

Yeah. This is just like the end of the Rise of Skywalker trailer: it's a moment taken out of context to provoke discussion and interest, precisely because the implications are so shocking. The real context may be much more mundane and less inciting than the implication, but in the meanwhile it sets fans burning with speculation.
As an aside, the trailers are usually deceptive to a degree. A character being shown, for instance, isn't necessarily the one speaking a particular line.
I'm also very curious about Eulmore. Sin Eaters used to be regular people but supposedly need to feed off of living aether. They're also part of Eulmore society. That's going to raise all sorts of interesting dilemmas if they're sentient and still maintain part of who they used to be.
At least one interesting moment unrelated directly to the other parts: at 2:51 here, we get a short glimpse of what looks like Gaius and Estinien having a chat together; possibly they're working together back on the Source now?
Edit: switched link to official trailer instead of another upload. Time is also corrected.

I hope Estinien does more than he did in Stormblood. I miss him a lot.At least one interesting moment unrelated directly to the other parts: at 2:32 here, we get a short glimpse of what looks like Gaius and Estinien having a chat together; possibly they're working together back on the Source now?
I added more to my post but as I said before...How? Cultures are entirely different, meaning how people interact are different, and thus who gets together and reproduces is entirely different. Everything that makes you you would be different; your counterpart wouldn't in any way be substantively the same. Like, you could just arbitrarily have counterparts, perhaps as Arbert mirrors the Warrior of Light, but it would just be an arbitrary linkage, not a true alternate version.
"this would in return have your alternate reality counterpart be born with a different belief, experience, and interests in their life thus he or she may have your name and same appearance but have a completely different personality."
I am not talking about a Mirror image of everything about yourself but a alternate reality version that lived a completely different life due to how different their version of the World is.
Many stories have done this theme before. A character may look like X character but they themselves are Y character who only similarities are their appearance while everything else are completely different.

That's fair, but I suppose at that point you get to a philosophical debate about whether or not that's you, if literally your culture and ancestry are entirely different. I suppose a term I'd agree with is doppelganger.I added more to my post but as I said before...

So if they are really primals, who summoned them?
Not shocked at all, I’ve been telling people not to listen to the crazy talking crystal in the sky all this time. About time we join our brothers and sisters of the empire.
