Well, that little bit at the end from Solus was something I'd suspected for quite some time...
Also, in the brief glimpse of him with his Ascian rune-mask active it looked like the bit of Zalera's glyph... so pretty much confirms he's Emet-Selch, on the First, and not possessing Varis.

so correct me if im wrong but does this imply if true that they are the original primals or such?

Personally I'm thinking this will end up going into a theory I've held for a long time: That one can in fact summon without worrying about the whole "temepering the summoner and others" thing. Which would of course lead into the Ascians being the reason why the current way summoning works leads to temepering.

Yeah. Primals as we know and understand them are entirely rooted in Ascian teachings; they're a plague meant to engender instability and bring about Calamities. Hydaelyn and Zodiark must naturally precede the Ascians, so it's likely they're a separate sort of existence altogether, one not inherently harmful. After all, if Hydaelyn were a bog standard primal we're familiar with, the planet would already be drained dry after thousands of years.Personally I'm thinking this will end up going into a theory I've held for a long time: That one can in fact summon without worrying about the whole "temepering the summoner and others" thing. Already known with Shiva, and technically Moggle Mog, although I grant that it may be difficult to tell the difference with the latter.Personally I'm thinking this will end up going into a theory I've held for a long time: That one can in fact summon without worrying about the whole "temepering the summoner and others" thing. Also Alexander is implied to never have tempered anyone. We go in with Cid and the Ironworks crew into Alexander, and they were completely fine. Quickthinx was also not exactly following Alexander's true intentions. However, I'm less attached to that hypothesis (of Alexander not tempering anyone), since it could all be handwaved with "it's all part of Alexander's time-travel plan".

Ysayle has the echo and thus can't be tempered by Shiva (or rather if Hydaelyn and Zodiark's blessing's are tempering and not Ascians messing with other primal's summons, she is already temepered), and most likely summoned her on her own without direct summoning by her fellow heretics, and Moogle Mog's personal guards from the fight were in fact tempered when he was summoned. Atleast that is what I remember being said in the story.Already known with Shiva, and technically Moggle Mog, although I grant that it may be difficult to tell the difference with the latter.

Alexander is also far smarter than most primals, and even then the ones who directly summoned him may have been temepered. He probably had them killed as part of the plan if there were any tempered caused by his summoning.

The Mogglesguard were not tempered, at least as far as we know. They resummoned him out of pure spite at being scolded by Kuplo Kopp. There was a fear from the Gridanians that they would be tempered, though. But they were not actually tempered at the moment of summoning.Ysayle has the echo and thus can't be tempered by Shiva (or rather if Hydaelyn and Zodiark's blessing's are tempering and not Ascians messing with other primal's summons, she is already temepered), and most likely summoned her on her own without direct summoning by her fellow heretics, and Moogle Mog's personal guards from the fight were in fact tempered when he was summoned. But again, I admit that it is difficult to tell.
As for Alexander, he was summoned twice, by Mide and Dayan first, then by Quickthinx. Quickthinx is generally fanatical anyway, but Mide doesn't seem to have been tempered to serve only Alexander's will. But again, it could all be a Long Plan.
