Probably because posting from mobile on the SE forums and attempting to edit stuff might be terribly convoluted. At least that's my guess. Then again I don't have a cell phone.

The tiny aetherite really doesn't function at all sadly, it's just there for looks. As for the garden plot, it's only useful if you've got a ton of seeds and can crossbreed stuff for gil.

Though what I'd recommend is a chocobo stable to help raise your chocos if you have the gil to do so. Depending on how big your house is, you can either put crafting benches inside or set up tables for food furniture to get easier exp from dungeoning. Otherwise it's entirely up to you and your wallet to decorate it as you please.
