For those of you complaining about EXP chains while soloing...

It's already too easy to level a battle class in this game. It's pathetic. What's next, do you people just want SE to level the class for you?

We fought so long just to get incentives to party with other people, and now that that finally happened, people want to undo it all because they don't want contact with other people? No Thanks.

I got from 45-46 in around 9-10 guildleves last night. at under 10 minutes a guild leve, 86k (or close to) xp in under 2 hours ish including travel time is pretty damn good solo. You can get 40 to 50 in a week just playing a couple hours a day doing leves. Yeesh

Solo EXP must not be on par with Party EXP, but I believe there are things that Solo players can do to have fun and experience at the same time. Though, if you guys didn't understand this game is more Party-friendly than Solo-friendly, this should be the time =)

I was especially concerned about Bayohne's comment that they were looking into making it easier to achieve experience chains while soloing. Seriously, leveling does not need to be easier. Of course this was during a leve with aspect, but it still makes the same point. Leves are designed for solo play, and if I can get a chain 5 soloing a leve with little difficulty, I REALLY don't think the system needs adjustment.

I think it would be reasonable to make it easier for low levels Lv 1-20 considering barely anyone makes pt at that range.

I pop a Grand Company Leve at/above my level, and use Guardian's aspect, if its an extermination leve I'm basically killing three birds with one stone, EXP chain, Company Seals, and GC leves count towards the Regional Leve count for the Lord Protector achievement.

Think of 1-30 as the balancing act, most game companies will make it so everything past level 30 is a grind, that's how they make the content last, SE basically ended with the opposite, 1-30 is a grind, then 30-50 happens in a moment.

I solo'd a lot of my lvls on this game doing leves and behest (LNC 37-4, archer 42-50, mrd 46-50, thm 45-48, GLA 45-50) and it's pretty easy, sometimes i find more easy to get exp on leves than on a party, and is kinda sad.

Not every single aspect of an MMO has to require a full party like XI. XIV doesn't have much emphasis on grinding out levels. Instead, the focus is on actual battles and other such content.

They have tons upon tons, of games made specifically for solo play or small group content. If thats what you wish to play, then go do so. Not everything in FFXIV requires a group. There are a good amount of NMs you can solo/duo. End game mobs and getting to 50 in a few days are the things that should certainly require a full group.

Honestly, I am glad the OP feels they are something special. So special in fact, that they felt like they deserved there own thread on a topic we already have 5,286 threads on.
