I'd also love the GW II way of unlocking a dye and it's permanently there, but it's doubtful considering some dyes are sold in the Mog Station and still a fairly successful income.
...and since I already compared it to GW II....can we ever have multi dye gear please? I'm tired of every white turning cotton candy pink when using red dyes >.>

The previous explanation we've been given for not implementing a tackle box is that, due to the way inventory works in this game, making a "tackle box menu" wouldn't create new inventory slots - it would occupy slots that could otherwise be used to store any type of item.
So logically the dye box would have the same issue. Instead of freeing up existing inventory, it would either cut into those slots and reduce your existing inventory space (not likely to go down well with people) or they'd have to implement extra inventory slots - another issue they've previously said is difficult due to past bad planning decisions - and then lock that inventory to work with nothing but dyes.

What I would prefer is a dye box specifically for the glamour dresser. Store the dyes you want in there, and you can dye the items through it. Let's say you store 10 metallic gold dyes. Then you can dye 10 items in the glamour dresser with it. When you undye them, it returns the dye to your box.
White Mage ~ Scholar ~ PaladinBoi if you got kicked for the same thing in over 20 duties I strongly suggest you think hard on whatever the hell it is you're doing
As I'm sure you are well aware, it takes more than one person to be able to kick a player from a duty, so in all those instances there were at least two people agreeing they'd be better off without you tanking.
That's a nice suggestion. I only dye stuff when I'm at the glam dresser anyway.
