Reality:
People that are doing something relatively simple behave like children and overreact towards people who can't do things exactly how they want.
Luv... if you can't hit a button 80% of the time, it isn't a playstyle choice, it's laziness and disregard for the people in your party.
It's relatively simple, so why can't I expect people to at least try to do it?

So you're saying that healers who can't DPS can't even do something simple then? >o>
I mean, it's true but still... >w>
You are right.
People only healing are overreacting towards people who want them to push more then just 1 button every 20 seconds...
So you go out as a WHM and you use your Tetra and your assize and assylum and then what, hope no one takes damage until they are off cool down? I guess you can throw benediction too but then thats on CD if your tank ends up really eating it. The amount of damage people are wanting would require constant healing, meaning there is no down time to cast stone while your oGCDs come off cool down, so you will be using your GCD spells to heal in between. I might be missing abilities but thats all I can really think of that is oGCD. The kind of outgoing damage for constant healing would probably have auto attacks taking out 20-30% of the tanks hp with actual tank buster leaving them with single digit health.
I mean I guess. Some people seem to not able to dodge the circles or whatever on the ground either. Whatever the reason is, it's no skin off my bones. Apparently millions of people play this game, not everyone in those millions may be capable of doing simple things. I'm not going to belittle them over it. lol
Honey, I don't care if they don't hit that button. I'm not going to die if they don't. And don't try to use the typical disregarding their party phrase. You're showing a complete disregard for the person that isn't DPSing as a healer. Whatever reason they're not doing it, it's none of my business, nor anyone else. I just live and let live.
Because saying things like they'll purposly wipe a party over a healer not dpsing is totally not an overreaction. Not even the slightest.
My point is that 1/4 of the party is not worth as much as 3/4 of the party. I'm also not asking for 100% uptime casting... but at least make an effort. If I see a few DPS spells coming out at least I know you're trying instead of half asleep hitting one button every 20 seconds.I mean I guess. And my point is that people truly overreact to this. Like it's something that will make or break the game. Well, I guess make or break the dungeon. Either way, people blow it up to something way more than it actually is. It's really more like minor inconvenience. As compared to what people make it out to be like some type of "trolling" or whatever else.
By that logic DPS using 1/4 of their kit and PLD's only using flash are also only a "minor inconvenience". You'll still clear eventually right? And my point is that people truly overreact to this. Healer's don't get a free pass due to a green icon.
