I disagree. I think the proportions are a bit too odd to be reflected in-game in a way that looks decent. The arms are a bit too thin for instance. I think the art by FrischeNq is much more fitting.

I have to ask, though, which of the two characters depicted in the artwork you linked are you suggesting that viera men look like? I don't think they will be designed to look like the child due to what Yoshi-P outlined not too long ago. I figured I'd ask for the sake of clarification since quite a few of your posts throughout the thread have been in favour of them being extremely short, slender and young looking.

I also believe the art piece in question is due to be reworked somehow. Is that correct? I do not follow Twitter closely myself.

The one on the left. The body type is not being reworked. It's the design of the leggings that may be changed. I think this body type is great. They are slim, but you can see they are very fit as well.

Also see omega m's body type which I think is the best compromise.

I disagree. I think the art by FrischeNq is a better example of elegance in the context of fierce defenders of the forest. With the compromise of a muscle slider I think it would be the best fit overall.

Omega M is also modeled after a Hyur and I was under the impression that you were strictly opposed to such an approach in their design. I'm glad to see that you've come around on that point, though.

I disagree with you. I think omega m or minafumi are the best body types imo. I was under the impression Omega m was a modified elezen body. If not, it's still modified to the point where it is different than a hyur model, and if you think about it, some of the races probably used a hyur base and then have been adjusted. Meanwhile, you keep suggesting faces and body types that are straight up hyur. I think viera should have faces unique to viera, not hyur. Like I said, take a look at the concept art. Their faces are very distinct.

You're free to disagree, though there does not appear to be many here who want them to be short, slender and androgynous in the way in which you are proposing. I think that if they are added they are going to be tall, fairly well built and adhere to conventional standards of male attractiveness. I suspect that 'slim' will be used in relation to the bulkier races such as Hrothgar and Roegadyn with Viera men being as well-built as the Warrior of Light in the Stormblood cinematic at the very least.

You're also free to disagree. You keep saying I want them to be short, but I already said that I think the males being around the same height as females would be fine. The females are already very tall, so the males wouldn't necessarily be short. They would still be tall, just slightly shorter than the females. However, I don't much care about the height. They can be taller or shorter than the females. I've already told you this. I also think viera will be slim, but fit. I don't think they will adhere to the conventional standards of male attractiveness. Rather, I think they will have a typical viera facial structure that is rabbit like, as shown in the concept art.
