Male Viera as a playable character! show your support

its not that, people want variety, if you get the same male and female characters all the time it opens up only one story about one race but we got two.

I rather have two story driven character races than just one that we already know about, that's what you don't get, we know what Viera is it has nothing to do with the character its about lore and story but people will say hey who cares about lore and your story well guess what who cares about Male Viera then.

I already seen the excuses also oh the thread reached 500+ of support you mean the whole 15-20 people who keep posting over and over in the thread news flash your votes don't count twice, three times, 100 times lol

then you have people against it and people who care about lore and story.

then assuming people who don't even come to the forums want it.

Well my cousin plays this and even said he really could care less about Male Viera doesn't seem like it would fit in and he never seen one in 12 why even bother adding it.

his friend said no thanks that if it messes with the lore he don't want it.

I mean if it comes later down the road after they release a few more races and then explains why Male viera showed up maybe I wouldn't have a issue.

People are talking about male Viera and repeatedly posting in a forum meant for discussion. Wait, that's illegal. Man, I'm sorry but I can't even look at your argument and take it seriously because I know the only reason you're against male Viera - or rather a huge chunk of it, is because you want your bird race. You have complaints about your lack of a birdman, I suggest creating a thread and bringing it up.

Also, don't quote lore when there's literally no reason for lore to be a reason to stop it. It's getting old. That being said I'm sorry you can't have your birdman, it sucks when you can't play as something that you wish to in a game like this. That's why I'm here, to show my support for something that is within the realm of possibility in the next expansion or so. Not now, not next week, not next month - but years down the line. I'm here to talk to people of like mind because that's my choice to do so, it's not hurting you or anyone else.
Note; a Male Viera can leave the wood if its to protect the wood. A Warrior of Light/Darkness would fall into this category. Male Viera's also left the wood to hunt down those who would do it harm. The creator of them has basically all but green-lighted for them to be playable, there is nothing holding them back other than limitation and resources, not lore.

There's nothing wrong with people coming together and chatting about this. If you don't like that people are discussing it then just don't comment. I have no idea why you would purposely come into a thread to post how you don't like that a few people are posting in it and chatting - when perhaps only one person has ever brought up the size of the thread as a defence. Pages don't matter, the upvotes do. It's not that complex.

Finally, if you're not the person who was very much wanting the bird race - then I apologise profusely. Though I'm certain it's you and I'm not going to dig through your post history because it's not that deep.

In order (swear I've had to post this SO many times): It's not about lore and story, it's about wanting to please the most players possible with limited resources, and accidentally or intentionally (if you suscribe to the theory that Yoshi-P wanted the blowback to weaponize the fanbase and convince SE to give XIV a bigger budget) creating a demand for the missing parts of these races.

+ The comments don't matter as much as the likes on the OP, which is the most likes gotten by any thread in the forums. It's a forum for discussion, which means some posters will post several times, that's how it works.

+ Repeat after me: Other PCs don't matter to the Lore. Other PCs don't matter to the Lore. Other. PCs. Don't. Matter. To. The. Lore. If they did, we'd have to cut the male Moonkeeper pouplation by 90%, and Duskwight WoLs would be banned, and there could only be 1 WHM and 1 SCH per server (heck, per Data Center).

+ The opposite is also true: Don't assume people who don't come to the forums don't want it. My ex-bf does and he doesn't come here.

+ Lore doesn't even need to change, and in fact it already has: the Wandering Dramaturge said "to us, they may not exist" now the Races Lore only says they're rarely seen.

Also, this is more a general thing, but when people insult supporters, even the most calm ones tend to bite back, funny how that works.
