The players I have the most respect for?

Is it just me, or do all but one of the pure clickers play dps? And even that one converted away from it.

KB&M PS4, Been playing Keyboard/Mouse Hybrid since EQ1 when i started in 2003. I think I've changed how I've moved characters 2 or 3 times since then, and i pretty much use both WSAD and Left+Right Mouse buttons simultaneously. Need to learn how to actually play with a controller, dabbled in it a bit, enough to know its probably the best MMO controller scheme I've touched, but... a solid decade of PC MMOs on KB&M, it just feels weird.

Oh and I did do pure keyboard for awhile at one point... Up/Down/Left/Right with the right hand, and hotkeys with the left... naive days of mine...

I main heals, so maybe the reason why I converted away from it was because I play healer, although another person commented that they have no problem while healing with clicking.
I can never go back, as I now find it tedious to be clicking on a player, then dragging my mouse all the way to click on my healing ability, then dragging it all the way back to click on another person.
The reason why I was a clicker, was because my first MMO was Runescape, and it was ALL clicking.
Since I stopped clicking, I have been able to make my crossbar icons smaller (So I can see more on the screen) and up the sensitivity of my mouse, so I can just do one flick of the wrist to get to the party list.
I also use WASD keys for movement, as well as my mouse, but I swapped my A and D turning for strafing, I find it makes it easier to dodge, while freeing up Q and E for my most used abilities, so I don't have to move my hand very far.
If I wanna go RP and turn the old way, I just use Shift+A,D

Yep, I've been main heal/tank/support/hybrids pretty much my entire MMO career. I still find it impressive that my co-healer plays pure controller. Since DPS really don't need to interact with anything other than their hotbars ever, as a healer probably 2/3rds of my targeting is either F1-8 or clicking the party frames, and as a tank I use the enmity list to target quite often.

Pretty sure my A/D are strafe as well, but given that I mostly turn with the mouse I don't think about it much.
