I am a pure-clicker (beside opening some menus). It's actually easier for me, I would mishit way too much on keyboard, I know myself too well in this case!
I just go by muscles memories, a bit trianing makes me stop the need to look at my skills. (also means if I move any skill, it will mess me up until I got used to it, lol) I have no issues to have a clear view on whats going on and all. Doing my rotation perfectly yadda yadda.
No idea why someone mentioned it's the worse way here?

I was a clicker for 10 years, and all through ARR. I also thought that it was easier for me as a clicker, and that I was doing perfectly fine. From the outside doing PvE content, I was better than the average. But then I got into PvP buddies on discord and they could hear me clicking away. They were astonished that I was a clicker and demanded I switch to keybinds right away. I didn't think it would do any good, but I tried it.
I had to learn everything all over again for two weeks but it was the best decision I ever made. You just can't click party members, then click heals fast enough, and being able to watch boss abilities, HP bars and the battle field, without taking your eyes off to click each. Individual. Ability. Let's just say Titan Extreme in ARR became easy for me, even with my 180ping, when I used to struggle before that.
At least give keybinds a good go, and see if it's better or worse for you.
If clicking is still better for you, then I guess stick with it, I can only speak from my own experiences.

Clicker since 1999 EQ1. I have dabbled in keyboard presses and macros but it's not my cup of tea.

The only game I went full keyboard in is B&S. KFM 3RF combo was not possible clicking. At least not for me.

Never went back after I left that game.

Bns crashed so hard, it had so much promise; a real tragedy when we look back at how anticipated it was.
As for the clicking, I can see the appeal to it, every time you press the skill it feels more personal when you execute.

Not sure why people tend to think clicking is a bad thing. I click almost all my skills and I have no problems dodging aoes and putting out decent DPS. I've cleared both ultimates and all of savage while clicking. Clicking doesn't make the game more difficult.

Is it just me, or do all but one of the pure clickers play dps? And even that one converted away from it.

KB&M PS4, Been playing Keyboard/Mouse Hybrid since EQ1 when i started in 2003. I think I've changed how I've moved characters 2 or 3 times since then, and i pretty much use both WSAD and Left+Right Mouse buttons simultaneously. Need to learn how to actually play with a controller, dabbled in it a bit, enough to know its probably the best MMO controller scheme I've touched, but... a solid decade of PC MMOs on KB&M, it just feels weird.

Oh and I did do pure keyboard for awhile at one point... Up/Down/Left/Right with the right hand, and hotkeys with the left... naive days of mine...

also half clickers here. most of my hotkey is only 1-4, the alt variant and R F Z and X button, thats it. the rest i just use my mouse to click things.
it also help that i have this habit to have my mouse always stay near the rightside of the hotbar..

on the other hand, my friend use his 10+ button mouse... that count as clickers? =D

Yes and No from my personal experience using both keyboard and mouse to use skills which is very effective to weave together attacks.

Razer Naga Chroma... the only mouse I use for FFXIV because of the 12 buttons on the side of the mouse. I just need to either hold on Shift or Ctrl for all 3 bars of my skills. My keyboard is only used for WASD besides Shift and Ctrl. And if the content is not too intense, I can play with just the mouse.

yea without controller and keyboard to type on my giant tv i couldnt play. playing with a mouse and keyboard sitting in an uncomfy desk staring at a pc monitor for ants takes some dedication. talk about the ultimate level of uncomfort.
