From Square Store, When does our Preorder actually get charged for Shadowbringers...?

I got an email this morning saying that they would be charging my account on the 6th. I looked up their preorder policy about a week ago, and it says that they typically charge a few weeks in advance to get the process started.

I got the same email this morning as well.

The game will be delivered on 2nd July. You'll be charged a few days before that. They'll email a warning before.

Although if the NA store is like the EU store, you can go into your order history and choose for them to take the payment now, if you wish to do that.

That's what I did and highly recommend anyone else to do. Dont wana have it slip your mind and then WHOOPS overdraft fee lol.

Im almost 100% sure. But you can actually (If you bought from the se store) have them charge you right away. I know i did this so i didnt forget about it. x.x

Mine is already paid for thanks to PSN. So it's literally a waiting game before it downloads T.T Good thing I have 1gig of download speeds so it'll be downloaded in seconds.

I just wish they'd made it more obvious. That's some nice fine print when they decide to wait to charge you later. I'd be willing to bet 99% of players expected the charge to be completed at the time they purchased it, like every other business model. I love the game and the devs and almost everything about the game except this. People are going to be up in arms when they miss the email and start seeing charges pop up on their accounts for something they assume already paid for and some, like me, are likely to get overdraft fees due to this.

Except, with 99% of pre-orders, you don't get charged until later. This is pretty common knowledge.

Also, don't people have credit cards for online use? Much safer than debit cards since it doesn't pull the money directly from your bank account. And before you say "but that leads to debt" just don't spend more than you have. Use it like cash and know your limits.

Amazon and most online stores don't charge until shipment or shortly before shipment.
