Male Viera as a playable character! show your support

0 Should be feminine, male Viera is the missing male gender, not the missing female gender.
How would I sound if I asked for a masculine female Viera face when we were asking them to add (female) Viera?

I support male Viera.

Femenine is certainly not a breastless female, and every single last male race except male roes (and to some extent higlanders) has a femenine face, so male viera will 99.9% likely be no different than that. If u dont want to play a more femenine looking male viera, don't worry you'll have 2-3 masculine faces, but let others make their male viera however they want. yaoi bunnyboi face will make SE sell more fantasias, adn to counter the cost of the missing genders for 6.0 they'll most likely want/need to sell fantasias, so I think its quite clear male viera will have at least 1 face that appeals to each side (1masculine, 1 old and grumpy and 1 young and femenine) while the remaining one will either be dumb looking or another one from the previously 3 stated styles

I really like that version of mViera as well. He's still masculine while not being a wall of muscles like Roe or Hroth. And to me at least, I would say that is an elegant face. I could see the mViera in that artwork being a dancer easily.

Also inb4 "Why you hate Roe/Hroth?" I don't. They're both excellent options for people who want that body type for their character. I just don't think that body type suits mViera.

That is exactly the male viera I want, and with that face too. The hair is amazing, and he looks extremely elegant, deadly, silent, beatiful, adn not too bulky but not too thin either. Perfect imo

I think SE confirmed that what I'm guessing you mean by girly boy viera (too short, childlike, etc...) won't be happening, but we are most likely gonna have at least 1 androgynous face type for those who might want it and to boost sales. Like I said, Lauront's signature is my dream male viera lol

I don't want a girly face personally, but I do want those who might want it to have the options. I'd play a male viera masculine looking char anyways. I've got a couple masculine looking alts and I quite enjoy them

Seriously, do you feel the need to come and be extrenmely disrespectful towards ppl insetad of bringing anything to the discussion? In the past I've been hostile towards different opinions, but I think that that has changed over time (or at least im trying to) so you could come here and actually add to the conversation other than deny us telling us that nah no male viera because apparently we are just either trolls or we don't really want them to begin with (just like you said on the letter thread, gives me blizzard vibes btw) and that's quite a shame because you could actually bring to the discussion if you treid to at least tell us why you seem to want to deny the backslash for male viera yet you are respectful towards those who want female hrotgar. I don't really want to judge others, but to me at least it seems like you liek the male hrotgar and I must admit that everyone at first was hating hard on them, but that's already done like, 1 month ago,so no need to continue with that. Maybe because they care about this? In the age of smart phones there really should not be a surprise with people posting a lot. And its not like we knew that something would change with that, we just show SE our support for the missing genders.

Most of the bickering just starts when people dont allow other opinions besides their own, be it for or against something. Otherwise there had been quite some nice discussions too. The most useless posts are imo those that just come here to complain about a thread they could completely just ignore. Hmm...like some wanting just to spark another fire. Well, it's unfair to say they're highjacking because it's just their opinion - but it gets to a point in where it's brushing dangerously close to being so far from the devs vision and the lore that it can be considered a highjack. Yoshida wants elegant and handsome, Viera males. Handsome has long since been attributed to masculinity. You don't call a feminine guy handsome; you call him cute or pretty. You don't call a beautiful woman, handsome. If the developer wants them to be handsome, then they will be just that, handsome in terms of masculinity. Elegance doesn't = femininity either, so that's off the table. Elezen moves with elegance - all red mages fight with elegance. An assassin who is trained to waste no movement than what is needed moves with elegance. This is the image painted. Now let's talk about Matsuno's vision, where they are muscular like a boxer - with zero body fat. Yes, they won't be extremely buff - but I have a feeling people have different views when it comes to muscular. All you need to do is look back at all of final fantasy and look at the muscular males there; there's plenty to see. Imagine cloud strife, but the muscles are more defined. Midlander body type is a lot more likely, just taller with more muscle. Even if they have Omega M's body type; people need to remember that they're still going to be ripped by default.

Anyway, the point I'm making is that if you want a male Viera that isn't handsome and has no muscle development then yes, you're not supporting the devs at all. If you want a male Viera to look soft and have a sheltered life, then you're straying from the imagery put forward. Male Viera aren't cute, they're not kawaii and there honestly shouldn't be any reason for them to look extremely feminine. Their life is a sad tale of being ripped from their communities, trained to kill and survive - thrown to the wolves where most die in the final test and then only seeing another person again when they have to kill them - regardless of why that person is there, in cold blood - or to mate. And when that's done, and only then do they have the opportunity to not be lonely stoic striders by taking an apprentice. Nothing about this screams cute, feminine or the likes. It's a hard life. Any femininity they may have would be warped by scars, facial hair, grime and blood.

You could be described as highjacking a race if you're taking it extremely far from what is being envisioned by both the devs and the lore. I don't know; maybe I look too much into this as a writer. But man, I'd be disappointed if they ended up looking overly feminine. Even if I know that most who want this won't be considering the lore - and have their own RP headcanon where they wouldn't have gone through any of these hardships. Ones headcanon shouldn't trump that of the Devs or beyond what the lore allows - that goes both ways. Thankfully male Viera can leave the wood with lore that has been given to us. If it's to protect the wood, they can leave. This includes hunting down those who are a threat to the wood. Males actually leave the wood to do this, you just don't see them.

As a side note; we're fortunate that male Viera doesn't have to suffer what happened to female Aura. I'm pretty sure they get snubbed because of the two clans, and one of them being dainty in the description of lore and how most of them are princess wifus, priestesses and housewives. They didn't want to make another model just for female au'ra.
