I can't see all my gear in the melding interface

I have materia on 12 pieces of gear for NIN, but when I open the melding interface, I only see FIVE equipped pieces: weapons, hands, legs, and necklace.

Even if unequip one of the missing items into the armory chest and point the melding interface there, I still can't see it.

Is it a bug, or am I not doing something right?

I will use my bad memory to help you, so it's propably because fully melded items do not show up in that menu?

Pretty much this.

After looking at your gear on Lodestone, the other gear pieces still show up because those are crafted items.
Those can be overmelded beyond the 2 standard Materia slots (1 for Accessories) up to 5, that's why they still show up in the menu.

If you want to remeld your gear, you will have to remove materia first and then meld again.

Ok, thanks. I need to re-do my rings, especially one that's showing +0 crit, but it won't let me see the reason in the melding interface (Until I remove the exiting materia.. At least, it should let us LOOK at any gear to see the stat limits, even if it's fully melded.

Ideally, you should be able to do everything materia-related from the melding UI: Add, Remove (From any slot), and View.
