I would suggest to train rotation and gear up to 350 or even higher to make it easier.
For me it seams like ~330 is the lowest end of the possible clearing gear, lower and you will die on every simple mistake and better gear will simple power up your damage and survivability.
Also it schould be easy to upgrade gear with Alphascape and the uncapping of the 360 tomestones.

I cleared as i346 WHM on 3rd try, ignore adds and just burn her down.
It really helps to stay at the edge of the barrier. Makes dodging the Aoes a lot easier.

I did this on my alt's ilvl 345 ast with no issues at all. You can ignore the adds completely as they do minimal dmg and have nearly nothing to dodge. Just burn her down. As long as you are not taking your time moving around or waiting for one cast to completely finish before queueing up the next, it should go fine.

Also if you are having too many issues, mendacity rain down like crazy now so one round of dailies should get you a large chunk of 360 gear if you need it.

I tried this as a Paladin 351, and I had a very hard time. Completed as my 341 WHM. Clearly not a friendly battle for all classes.

Kill the adds first. They take damage like wet paper and she sacrifices a big chunk of her health every time she revives them. She's also not attacking you the entire time she's reviving them.

the issue I have with this is that it's not broken into two separate fights , its all one long duty which I guess I understand but would be nice to go back to the last part of it. That's what is getting me and dodging all the mechanics and knowing when to really burst her down requires a bit of concentration as each time you die you have to go back and repeat it from the very beginning. Damn it would be nice to take it bit by bit.

You can't do actual end-game content "bit by bit". 8-man raids, EX trials, even a few of the 24-man bosses require upwards of ~10 minutes (it varies depending on fight and overall group performance) of maintaining rotation while performing mechanics, with only like 1, maybe 2 or 3 phase transitions which allow for a few seconds of downtime. If one person cannot keep up, they become a liability to the team. If enough people can't perform, they cause the fight to fail and force everyone to start over.

Will of the Moon is still a lot less demanding than that, but I'm glad that it at least teaches people the consequences of complacency. I feel like we need more of this kind of tests to remind people that they need to pay attention and perform well for prolonged periods of time.

Not so long ago, I asked in another thread how jobs with less DPS get past the 'DPS checks in solo battles.' I asked it out of genuine curiosity, since my only real combat class is DRG and I had a bit of trouble with this fight. Of course I was mocked for asking that, but I still can't help but feel that Square Enix biased some of these more recent fights toward damage dealers.

Anyway, the meteor kept killing me between 5% and 10% of Sadu's health. Fortunately, the echo saved my butt. Unfortunately, I lost as Y'shtola twice so I had to beat Sadu 3 times in total.

The only advice I can give you is to push harder. There is no secret trick or anything. If you have to, get the best level 70 gear that you possibly can.

Thats absolutely not true. If you are well enough geared and know how to play your class you can pass it with flying colors. Even tanks and healers can do it easy enough. If you can't that means something is wrong.
