Male Viera as a playable character! show your support

As I said before, I like that, however that's the kind of body I envision for my Au Ra over anything else. I doubt they'd go for anything quite that muscular for Viera, but neither would I say no. It's a really nice build.

I would like something like that but thinner.

There are many, in the "SHOW YOUR VIERA!" thread alone who were very supportive and happy about the "floppy" ears.

They also look way too different. I honestly just hope that male vieras look like they belong into the same race as the females..I dont want another Au Ra were they could have been two different races or clans. Of course its fantasy but for me at least I want to feel like these two genders fit together in one great theme. Just like how all the other races (excluding Au Ra) look.

Right, but do we want male Viera to be Garleans in disguise? That look is already taken by Garleans. Facially they should look like female Viera but with masculine faces, like this, strong jaw, strong nose


We keep going on circles about how they should look when the concept art already exists. They won't be twinks, they won't be short, or pretty boys like male Elezen, that's why we have male Elezen already; the typical bishounen elf males. You know Aymeric and Estinien? Why do we need that again?

This is concept art and old one too. Look at some of the concept art of the Au Ra (especially the women) then you will see that they dont necessarily mean that we will get them like that. Also we should not forget that they had other concept art about them too including one male viera child (Which I hope was truly just a child.) and another more slender looking males.

In the end those that want muscles have Roes, Hrothgar, Au Ra and in some way even highlanders. So I just cant believe that they would be buff too. Muscles are fine but honestly they should not imo look like a whole different race where the only similiar feature are their ears.

Let's be honest with ourselves here, the ones wanting feminine faces are wanting to look like pretty bunny men so that they can fulfill a fetish. It's just what it is. As for what you do with your character, I don't care. It's none of my business. I was just sharing my opinion. Don't like it? Cool. We don't have to agree, which we're are clearly not.

Its a preference exactly like softer looking men. (And if you look at the wiki page bara is often put together with Yaoi too) If people would love huge muscled men the most then Roes would not be one of the least played races out there. So lets not try to shame those that want to look beautiful in their way.

Edit: So that some might not misunderstand it: Its completely fine that someone wants to have bara Vieras, or other Vieras. Just lets not put down one side just because you dont like the kind of style while using a style yourself that is quite rare too.

Its already bad enough that they again choose the first beastly race to be male only..while the female counterpart race is full of supermodels (not saying anything against that, I might even change into a viera at launch). So let us have buff Hrothgar females and supermodel Viera males. Then at least they would not just fall into that horrible race cliche again..

Also I hope that they show us how male viera and female hrotgar will look like somehow before 6.0, and I hope female hrotgar aren't yet another female miqote. I'd like them to be based of a male roe body, pehaps scaled down a bit
