Please urge them to do something CREATIVE, not these garbage "mini-games" which drove away thousands of players in the first place.

Hot and cold, aka the ENTIRE GATHERING system, is garbage. This is not a mechanic from XI that should be carried over to XIV.
I've heard of no one quitting FFIX because of Hot & Cold nor did I hear of anyone quitting XI because of an optional mini-game.

"Tibian" =/= thousands of players.
