it would be weaker than the ifrit claws. remember even though you put it on your head slot for the cobalt claws you could also put it on your head slot for the ifrit claws. you are basically comparing the ifrit claws to cobalt with only one materia. even if you didn't put the int on your head piece when using the ifrit claws they would still out perform the cobalt. those ifrit mele weapons are the best pieces.
