Petition for magic carpet mount to be adjusted into a two seater

I was happy and excited when we got to see the latest MogStation this week and a new mount. The new mount being a magic carpet very thrilling now you can take a friend and show them a whole new world in XIV. However I discovered its only a 1 seater sadface. Why make it only a one seater though surely its big enough to seat at least two. Its the perfect two seater mount to have it just make sense to be a two seater. As far as sales go I would guarantee huge increase and continued sales throughout the lifespan of XIV which should be several more years hopefully. I'm petitioning Square Enix and the Final Fantasy XIV development team to reconsider and make the mount into a two seater. I would be willing to pay additional price for it to be upgraded and be at the same price point as other two seaters on the MogStation. Hoping my fellow Final Fantasy XIV players will join me in this petition to have the magic carpet mount maded into a two seater. Please Square Enix and Final Fantasy XIV team read thing and reconsider.

Since it's already out as a mog station mount, they won't adjust it. It costs the same as other single seater mounts (account wide)... were they to make it a 2 seater and increase the price, that'd upset people who hadn't yet got it... were they to keep the price the same, that would upset people who have other 2 seater mounts (e.g. Fat Moogle, the whale)... in essence, they've backed themselves into a corner here.

They do listen when enough people respond. Blue mage was asked for and delivered.
The fairest thing to do is remove the single seater mount one from MogStation those that have it can keep it. A second one that is a two seater is then placed at the two seater price point.

How many people did it take for that to happen?
And how long did it take to make that happen?
If I'm not mistaken, both Viera and Blue Mage have been asked for for many years.
I kinda doubt a mount change will even show up as a blip on their radar.
But who knows. Miracles might happen.

The problem with a two seater is that it would look kinda awkward sitting in it alone if you’re off to the side. There’s no mounts I’m aware of that change your seating position depending on whether on not someone else is with you.

There's a $6 gap between single and multi-seater mogstation exclusive mounts, they're not likely to go back and make alterations to anything in the mogstation after the floodgates have opened when there's a clear price difference. SE probably would have sold more if it were a two seater though. Perhaps they can make a color variant that's two seater?
