Well you got me there. But whats even more after thinking about it. They are paying to complain and get angry on a forum. That gets more funny the more times I run it through my head.

Uhm, anyone who's played AST at a reasonable level will know exactly how 1 dot and 1 nuke feels.

Spoiler: it's pretty boring.

I played AST for a long time and only recently picked up SCH.
Using 2 DoTs instead of 1 isn't exactly riveting gameplay, and Miasma > Bio > Bane is just unnecessary tedium to do what Aero III does in a third of the time.

If a local restaurant changes the recipe of my favorite dish to add or remove key ingredients, I can still be disappointed without trying the new version. I might choose to try the new version, or I might not, especially if something was changed that really made the dish sooooooo good. But either way I wouldn't be interested in having a stranger telling me to shut up and try the new dish before expressing my disappointment over the change.

Personally, some of the changes sound like they will make some jobs a bit more bland to my own pallet, but I'm going to try them anyway before passing judgment. That said, that doesn't mean I'm not disappointed with decisions that were made. And I don't have a problem saying as much.

Maybe some people overreact, maybe not. I don't know what they want, what tastes good to them on the menu. If they want to try the new recipes, they will. Still, many people have been waiting a long time to find out what the changes are going to be so naturally some will at this moment be very discouraged and disappointed. Scolding them not to be isn't gong to work

No, theyre paying to play the game, and play the classes they enjoy.
If the changes affect that, they have every right to complain.

You don't need to "wait and see" to realise that AST Cards have been gutted of their complexity, and that the cards themselves are meaningless outside of collecting three different colours.
The Ewer, symbolises resource regeneration, or... nah it's just more damage.
The Bole, symbolises defence, oh wait no, it's just more damage like the rest.

I understand this and at the same time a part of me wants to play devils advocate and say they probably have a lot of stats that look like 99% of the time people balance. This one is kinda hard to judge as far as practice goes. It definitely saps the moral though.

Well when the expansion comes and people see that it's not actually going to be as bad as you lot seem to think I'll be sure to let you all know.

Exactly as some said before sb launched. I'll be waiting. A fun to play, good flowing SCH in exchange for you rubbing it in my face sounds like a sweet deal right about now.

With that said I expect them to at least put ED back into the game before the release. Fingers crossed. But if they do you can damn be sure it's because we whined on the forums.
