Make your own party then, the whole point of PF is for the leaders to request whatever they want. Giving Raise to a BLM doesn't solve anything if the actual player behind it isn't very good with the job to begin with.

BLM does not need a raise. BLM does not need any utility, its damage is insanely high and that is the role it fills. Adding anything more to it would make it far too powerful to the point that you might as well just have 4 black mages in your party.

yup, i also prefer they remove raise from my SMN too, kind of annoy when you go into 24 man raid, and other constant asking out loud for raise because they are failed mechanic and healer is busy
