The Nazi uniform was a MILITARY UNIFORM and strictly represented the militarism, ideology, and actions of nazi germany and the third reich. A school uniform from Japan (which appears a bit informal, but Im lacking context personally) during that period is not quite the same. A closer analogy would be a school uniform during nazi germany.

Exactly, one was worn by the actual people killing others and the other was worn by citizens living a normal life. Killing those that didn't wear it doesn't mean that anyone who wears that outfit approves of the actions done. Unlike wearing an actual Nazi outfit.

hmm I appreciate you at least bringing this to our attention, I'm glad to at least have a way to do more research about this, and I definitely do *not* want to wear clothing that would bring up such issues in real life or in a game.

I definitely think its worth bringing to the attention of square enix.


regrettably I bought the clothing earlier today, but I will not wear the clothing in any way in game, till at least after I have done more research on this topic, and still likely will not wear it in respect for those it may upset. and in respect to the history of the garments.

Again I don't think the outfit should be removed but the lack of empathy is kinda gross here. You can still enjoy your shiny fun toy and have sympathy for other people.

in the OP's defensive, they aren't trying to attack square enix or actively trying to remove the outfit. they are just sharing a little of a story/history that we can all know be a little more informed. now we have the option to do our own research on the issue at hand. and look they seem to know a bit more then most people so I'm giving them that.

but it's kinda annoying that you call them a troll when they aren't actually trying to attack anyone, they are pretty politely just bringing attention to this. they are just sharing something. like what? you don't agree with them, then that's fine, you are entitled to your opinion as are they. that doesn't make them a "troll" for having an opinion about something. also they are being 10 times more productive and polite then you are.
