I’m sorry you had a bad experience but for me no that isn’t support, I grew up being bullied and tried everything I could do to fit in socially I just never understood people, I tried and tried, I was diagnosed when I was a child as ADHD but over the years deep down inside I knew it was more than that, then years later(I was 34 then, 35 now) my sister who is a teacher that is trained to look for signs of autism in students brought up it up to me that I had exhibited a lot of traits she was trained to look for, I talked to my therapist and she agreed that I also had the traits that my sister saw and she recommended I seek someone out for testing and I did. After I was diagnosed my life started finally making more sense for me, I understood why I was the way I was and why it was so hard for me to make friends and for the first time in a long, long time I finally had some sort of sense of peace about who I was instead of persistent self loathing and self doubt because I had no idea why people didn’t want to be friends with me or how to be friends with them. It gave me the direction I needed to start to improve myself and the areas I fall short in.

So no, it’s not support, and the last thing I need is someone who doesn’t know me over the Internet to tell me I’m not making friends because “too many video games/anime”, I’ve spent years second guessing and doubting myself, no more.

Also they don’t give out medication for autism, I’m on an anti depressant because of my major depression but there is no pill you take for autism again I’m sorry that you had a bad experience but please don’t cause people to doubt themselves because of it.

whatever meds will get them good money or keep you coming in for therapy for nothing
It's not always just meds. They don't just say "Ok, well this is your problem now be off on your merry little way" they try to get you to do things to cope with whatever they find wrong with you. If whatever sort of help they're offering isn't helping, and it's costing you something, it's not harmful to think they might be wrong, intentionally or not, and look for another opinion.
There's a difference between that, which is what Izanagi and I are talking about, and "Ha, no, that's not autism", like you seem to think we're saying. You even do seem to get the concept, doubting the ADHD, getting rechecked, and they find it's autism. You weren't hurting yourself by doubting what the doctors said and getting another opinion.

I actually go to therapy much less frequently now than I used to now that I got a better handle on things, I’m not even seeing the person who diagnosed me for therapy. Again I really don’t think this is the place for that discussion.

That's the point we're trying to make. Things are improving for you now. By your own words, just the ADHD diagnosis left you going nowhere. Would you have a better handle on things if your sister didn't say anything? If you just kept sitting there on that one diagnosis? If you just kept doubting yourself but doing nothing?
Support doesn't just come in the form of comforting words, sometimes you need a push to act on your doubts even if it's not the most pleasant situation to be in.

To be clear I def do have both ADHD any autism, one of the reasons I’ve had so much trouble was that I only thought I had the one, with realizing I have both things made a lot more sense

I figured as much, since you never did say they ruled it out. Incomplete information can be as detrimental as outright wrong, so I am glad you got that problem of yours sorted out.

Please forgive me for being so defensive I’ve been hurt in the past by Facebook friends/people I knew from church posting articles about how ADHD is a fake disability or nonsense like vaccines cause autism I’m sorry for responding the way I did

I don't really have any real diagnoses, but my neck is always hurting, and will crack randomly when I move it. I've tried to seek help for it, but wasn't given much of an answer. I also have this thing where my knees with pop out/lock if I put weight on them and move a certain way. It's insanely painful, but again, no answer.

I also have depression and anxiety, that is being treated fortunately. But I still struggle with it. It definitely makes it a bit hard to interact with people in game, but I'm doing my best here.
