Male Viera as a playable character! show your support

Given how half baked customization is for the Hrothgar it might be better that they aren't adding male / female races for both as it would probably be even more of a mess than it already is. Give em time to fix the mess as the more you look into it the more it seems this expansion is being rushed out the door.

I thought the female viera were fine, and I'm not personally worried about the lack of hairstyles in the benchmark character creation for them. Since the shape of their head is similar to the other existing races, I think we'll see more hairstyle options for viera at launch. As for hrothgar, since the hair is attached to the face, that's a whole different issue. Each face would need a hairstyle made specifically for that face.

I agree with you on the female Viera but the way Hrothgar setup is terrible I think Meoni did a video with the same concerns and showcases just how bad it is with heads types locking hair, tattoos and facial features

Yeah, I was disappointed in hrothgar character creation. I've always been open to having a playable beast race, but because of the hair being locked to the face, I'm kind of put off by it. Will hrothgar be getting new hairstyles at the same frequency other races get? What about cash shop hair? How will the aesthetician work? I'll wait until launch to make judgments but if hrothgar hair is going to be restricted in this way, then I can't help but think it would have just been better to go with male viera.

I higly doubt the asthethician will work any differently. my bet is that they'll be able to change fur

I'm just guessing, as AuRa are able to change their eyes (parts of it anyway). And I don't recall that any other race can do that. So there could be minor changes for teh hrothgar aswell.
And if, just if, I guess one would just be able to change the head of the type you already using.
Like if you're using head A with hair B, maybe you can change to head A with hair A.

Just a thought.
