Luminary tools a comic relief?

How come the Luminary tools are gigantic tools that are carried on the back anyway?
Why couldnt they just be normal tools that u are proud carrying since u went through a lot to get them?
This isnt really bitching... im just curious about it.

Anyone seen the saw btw? lol... i wanted it bad but after i seen it i kinda dont feel like getting it at all, its not like its the best stats on a saw either + the looks of it? lol

Ya i know i just wish that my work wasnt going towards obtaining an item that will make me look like a clown.

And stats are meh. can do the same with a +1 bas relief saw and a couple materia melds and spare yourself
the 5.600 synths on a class that is capped already.
Bottom line i dunno if there are more like me out there but i for one was going for it hardcore till i saw a screenshot of it,
now i just wont bother lol.

lol I don't see how it would make you look like a clown...and you would have to 4 meld a +1 saw with 2 Tier IV and 2 Tier III materia to get the same stats. Good Luck with that one

Meh i'll still have same HQ to NQ ratio with a simple bas relief NQ no melds saw as anyone that has the huge

lol, okay you win....but anyway I'm not really working too hard towards getting it. I'm actually coming into it naturally, working out quite well doing the gathering achievements for logs that I've needed to turn into lumber for company seals. Am getting close to the 15,000 seal mark. And have been making a ton of cobalt arrows which has also helped...
