We've had DPS and tank poster boys. Ok, friends, I think it's time for the healers' spotlight. You know, the one we deserve. The WoL can be a motherflipping healer, okay?! There is nothing unseemly about a dad in a robe supporting his family.

Get this: the WoL's recklessness has caused more harm than good: pulling as a DPS, not taking aggro for squishies. So he thinks to himself, "You know what? I need to calm the f*** down". He immediately shings to a healer Job, humbling himself. He remembers what Louisoix did.

I with a previous poster agree that the reason we've had mostly melee/tanks is because they look better in action cutscenes. With 6.0 tho if we don't get a new melee dps, I guess it's paladin because all other melee jobs have been used? I dont think theyre gonna make gunbreaker the main job right after it was introduced
Either that or its gonna be machinist or a spellcaster.

If we're going to garlemald, I'm betting on machinist :P

I mean they made Samurai a main job for Stormblood on it's own release expansion. It's not too far fetched that Gunbreaker could get the spotlight in 6.0, specially if we're going to Garlemald. Ninja, Paladin, Machinist, Dancer could also make the cut.

i can see rdm being the next expansion seeing as it's both light and darkness the warrior will reclaim half of his light which is rdm then he'll go back full light again paladin or white mage etc

still could use it as a major bad guy honestly we need a town to be destoryed anyways the story has became dull to us only having victorys no real losses so i say Nuke uldah with Ultima

i just honestly tired of favortism to physical jobs when we all know if elements mattered like they should blm could wipe out all the things before they touch it.

consindering They are used way 2 much in scenes and now they can use abilitys without resources seems very favoritism

Casters don't make for very hype cinematics so most likely, no.

Nothing stopping Red Mage from filling the poster-boy slot... Just gotta focus on the parts of the kit that's most showy.
