I honestly prefer to have my characters short like me. But..the viera are tall. I'm still going to change my Au Ra to a Viera. Why? Because they're beautiful and elegant and I have always been fond of the race. Also..what is wrong with tall women?

Seriously??? If anything they should go taller. I was going to go max height and tower over everyone but they're shorter than highlanders, elezens, and femroes.

I wonder if there are people who don't think Bayonetta or Jeanne are feminine due to their height.

Anyone stomping their feet acting like this is some sexist thing that needs to be addressed or quashed is being silly. They had an opinion what they view as feminine.
It was fine up until they explicitly stated that this said opinion was objective. Also, I don't think anyone said that this particular user couldn't have an opinion. The majority of the people who stand contrary to their views gave reasons as to why this opinion is not only shitty, but wrong in the context of it being anything other than subjective.

I don’t feel like making an alt to visit your Data Center. Come join mine so we can further debate, you seem to be my biggest fan out of everyone! Also, I like both genders so the look doesn’t bother me that way I guess.

I'd like to see more short races, myself. I play a six-foot-tall female Highlander, and I'm a little annoyed that with the addition of Viera and Hrothgar she will now be below median height for player race/sex options. That's right; a six-foot-tall woman will now technically be on the short side in this game.

So, yeah; I say open up that option. Let players make smaller Viera and Hrothgar if they want to.

It's still an opinion, and opinions cant be 'right or wrong'. Theyre personal viewpoints, and the most that can be argued is you personally do not agree with it. Yes, trouble can happen when you start holding opinion as fact and that can be addressed, but as far as Im seeing, both sides are acting stupid.

Look at it this way, there are two ways you can handle other people's opinions:

    1) "I like apples. Theyre the best fruit." - "No, apples are stupid and arent the best fruit. They taste terrible, and science says apples are full of sugar and are terrible! That and people who like apples, they also like kicking puppies. If you really like fruits, its all about those big beautiful oranges. Better color and far better taste. If you cant see that, you just hate oranges, you apple scum."

    or

    2) "I like apples. Theyre the best fruit." - "Im personally more of a fan of Oranges. I think the citrus taste of oranges goes well with stuff in the morning and wakes me up better. Also jus tlike the color. Brightens my day."

Hyperbole aside, between the two which is better? Tearing down someone elses opinion and trying to use your opinion to correct theres, or just giving your personal perspective on why you might like something without invalidating the other. If they resort to trying to invalidate, thats on them, not you. You know a lot of this forum garbage about politics, and bad opinions, and friction can be corrected if people actually took a second to talk positively about what they feel personally instead of trying to invalidate the feelings of someone else and tear them down.

Even if Craft0s said it was fact, you still have the opportunity of saying "I personally dont agree. I think them being tall is nice cause of how elegant they are and (insert other subjective opinions here that you personally like)." You dont have to resort to tearing down the other person. Be the better person if need be. This isnt rocket science people. It just takes everyone to take a cool minute over a hot second.

*images of bayonetta characters I think*
Personally, I think they look goofy as hell cause their head sizes seem so tiny on their bodies. I like tall women, short women, stocky women, lean women, all kinds of women generally. As long as it all seems nicely proportionate to the overall asthetics.
