I am looking forward to ArcheAge. It seems like it is taking a lot of the things I enjoy from FFXIV and a lot of the things I enjoy from SWTOR type games and melding them into a sandboxpark.

Comments like this reaffirm that the feeling is mutual. This place is overrun with frustrated jerks, bored trolls and fanbois who are ready to stir the sh!t and eager to take your head off if you dare speak up about anything.

Surely that would be the only reason the community wouldn't embrace someone who constantly rants about how much this game sucks, bashes mechanics they don't even have the slightest grasp on, and goes on and on about how much better some other MMO is on the forum for FFXIV instead of simply migrating to that game's forums like they constantly say they are going to.

You've barely even played this game, not even scratching the surface accomplishing what most here did inside a week and yet you have posted over 1,000 times on its forum. I think that says a lot about your role here.

I paid my $75 for the CE, and as a customer, have just as much right as anyone else who wants to see this game succeed to post my feedback. SE has encouraged the players to do so. I'm sorry that just because you don't agree with my views that any negative feedback I have is 'ranting about how the game sucks'. I give credit where credit is due, but I also won't blindly praise SE for something that needs work.

After the regional server thread where you constantly called any advocates racists, you have absolutely no right to point any fingers.

Just because I haven't pushed to 50 with the little mid-level content this game has (I had been waiting for them to add more) or compromised my moral principals by powerleveling, that means nothing. Now, at this point, I'm waiting until 2.0 to level my character through so I can experience the content that will hopefully be coming.

My opinion is just as valid, and considering this game is still heavily in the development stages, I have been dedicated to voicing my feedback on the forums as a tool to help the devs improve the game, just as I did in closed beta. Getting the perspective of a low-mid level player is something that's harder these days, considering they're just trying to shove people toward 50 as fast as possible for the duration of 1.0.

I don't have a problem with opinions. But I don't see where you think you are qualified to speak on matters concerning the game as a customer who barely played it. Your $75 means nothing to me, I just wish you wouldn't clog up threads with your baseless speculation and instead try to inform yourself by you know... actually playing the game. Seems like it is a real hassle for you to patch up and log on the game once a month to keep your forum account active instead of just playing the game like everyone else on the forum and basing your opinions off of that.

As for you not believing in the existence of racists, if only not believing made them not exist the world would be such a better place.

In Murugan defense, he has a valid irrefutable point regardless. You probably spend more time on forum than playing. How can you possibly contribute to give any or much rational feedback or suggestions?

100%. It is why I have stopped playing. The community is awful. Most of the people left on my server, that I played with recently, have tunnel vision about this game and are just unbearable to play with. With most of the people I enjoyed playing with gone, there is no reason to hang around, as redoing tired content is not very fun if you don't even like the people you are doing it with.

So to Murugan and Andrien, as you can see from my signature, I have played this game, and since you seem to base the validity of someones opinion on length of time invested or accomplishments, then you can savor mine. I agree with everything Rowyne said.

I pretty much stopped concentrating on battle classes when powerleveling was not only made possible, but encouraged. Plus, when groups stopped doing leves and Behests, it made it harder to just jump in and go. My husband, 3/4 of my LS members, and my friends leaving the game did admittedly put a big damper on my motivation to progress. But, still, I run a linkshell that I brought over from FFXI, and was dedicated to remaining in the game for them to keep our family together (in fact, I was heartbroken when I posted on our forums that I would not be subscribing on Jan 6th). I've spent countless hours creating/maintaining its website. When I play, I often craft or talk to friends. I'm waiting until 2.0 to experience the bulk of the game, but just because I'm not pushing my battle classes to 50 doesn't mean I'm not playing and trying out the systems.

In fact, I'm logged on right now, sitting in the market wards, trying to get my Carpenter to 20.
