*paging Anonymoose* lol

1. the Students of Baldesion -they're like an academy of sorts, doing research and all sorts of other experiments into the nature of the world and into aether etc. it's where Krile and Ejika come from. it was only referenced vaguely in the game - i think Urianger would send them info that we had collected regarding primals and such.

2. Did you not read Galuf's memo inside the academy? Their intention was to subsume the whole Isle of Val including Eureka into the Lifestream so that the Ascians wouldn't be able to get their hands on it. That's why the island vanished. their intention was to stay there for eternity. eventually their substance would dissolve and fade away into the Lifestream. there was no coming back from this decision. unfortunately for them Eureka had other ideas.

3. being ripped out of the lifestream and back into the real world basically upset the balance of aether dramatically, leading to the rise of adverse conditions on the island, and the appearance of the NMs.

4. Before Galuf and the rest of them at the academy could carry out their plan to "sink" the Isle of Val, Eureka was busy making weapons to possess people (this is basically what could be said of the origin of Odin and the Dark Divinity). They sealed away these weapons in the Baldesion Arsenal lest anyone succumb to their power.

5. Eureka is a primal - that much has been said. it's basically designed to carry out the wishes of whoever possesses it. how it came into existence that i'm not sure of. but Galuf's note and Krile/Ejika's explanation tells you how dangerous it is. The Asicans would use it like a genie. any "Wishes" Eureka would try to grant however, would use up massive amounts of aether, draining and destroying all land and life.
