Whatever makes you happy kid. If you don't like it get out.You mean... Mostly Melded/buffed by Abilities to reach about 2.0 GCD breakpoint?
Or ignored completely for jobs like BRD whom utilize many oGCD skills?
Or turned into flat 1.5 GCD's by jobs like MCH and RDM during certain burst windows?
You mean that kind of necessitation?
That's a particularly interesting response for someone calling someone else "Kid".
You're the one who mentioned that the 2.5s GCD is "NECESSARY" due to how the game works.
Yet you respond to a simple observation about how in many cases the 2.5s GCD is merely reduced to 2.0s or less by innate skills (Huton, Shifu, Greased Lightning, Blood Weapon), geared for specifically to hit ~2.0s (I.e. Warriors, so as to get 5x Fell Cleave during the 10s duration of Inner Release) or during important parts of damage outputs literally just made into a 1.5s GCD (Machinist's Rapid Fire and Red Mages Enhanced melee skills).
If it's not completely bypassed by utilizing Off Global Cooldown skills, or in the case of BLM, having spells that have longer cast times than GCD's (Which would be the case for nearly all casters with a lower base GCD, given that the standard spell is 2.5s cast baseline, with only things like instant skills or Malefic having less than 2.5s casts)
But yeah, sure, make a childish response instead.
Whatever floats your boat.
I have absolutely zero interest in your dissection of the GCD in different states. I don't care AT ALL. My previous statements speak on their own. I will not respond to you again. That's a particularly interesting response for someone calling someone else "Kid".

Your previous statements say NOTHING.
In fact, it merely shows that you're incapable of creating an argument to support your original statement since being called out on it, all you've done is:
1) Insult me and tell me to quit the game.
2) Tell me you don't care about discussion (So what exactly are you doing on a public forum that is designed to be a place for people to discuss things?)
Which tells me that your fundamental statement that "The GCD is 100% NECESSARY because of how the game works at cap." has no basis in any kind of reality and you know it.
Nothing about the game at the cap actually makes use of 2.5 GCD and in a vast majority of cases, the GCD is literally just set at a lower value by default (Either basic stat priorities or baked in high uptime buffs)
All the 2.5s GCD does, is make lower levels, where you don't have any access to relevant amounts of SkS/SpS, your SkS buffs or a plethora of oGCD abilities feel like total ass while you're waiting 2.5 seconds between each strike of your 1-2 skills for 30+ levels.
