Got an healer with a IL42 weapon into Sohm Al. No wonder I joined as tank in progress of a 32' duty. Lost the count of wipes we faced. But got a dps mentor trying his best to help sprouts with mechanics, and when I told healer his weapon was... like that, turned out he doesn't knew he can buy things off npc if he unlucky with drops.
Happy ending, healer promised to go buy weapon as soon he finish the duty, me got 3 comms, and duty ended.

Okay, this is a very happy, triumphant story, about Eureka no less (I know it's sorta not the duty finder but I'm gonna put some sunshine in this thread anyway)! (ง •̀_•́)ง

So I'm in Pyros, level 50, as a Samurai.

I play with the logos actions for a bit and get some pretty awesome stuff going. First off I throw on that Wisdom of the Remembered which stats are verbatim 'Increase maximum HP by 10% and accuracy by 30%, Additional Effect: Grants a 70% chance of automatic revival upon KO.' Thought it was real neat to have on Samurai, but then I thought, why not go further, why not also make myself that Raise logogram? Hell yeah. So I'm just walking around Pyros as the most supportive Samurai ever. I get through with what's most likely the last bunny fate in my instance because it's rapidly dying and then someone shouts for a raise by that extra hellish bunny fate to the north. They died right between Hell and Worse Hell. Literally jumped out of the frying pan and into the fire. I already knew what it was.

In my mind I'm like, well, being the amicable player that I am, I'm totally gonna go save that guy even though there's -3 people in this instance right now.

I get to the location, ride pass the sleeping dragon, and then notice there's not 1 but 3 whole bodies just laying around being guarded hella Pyros Hawks, probably people who died trying to help the first dude. I regrettably ride further ahead of them because I'm being chased by 7 of the things that bodied them. I tried to get the Pyros Hawks to chase me to the point where they reset, but I just add like 7 more to the mob and other enemies ahead are aggroing me. Eventually I get fed up and turn back around and think, well, if I just run to the nearest person first and raise them super quick maybe this can be salvaged.

As I'm thinking that someone says in shout 'several people need rezzes here'--can't remember if it was one of the people dead or not, but I'm making a huge effort.

I'm getting hit by fifty-two million attacks, jump off my mount and just go for it, taking hits right and left and then I hit the raise button but I get an aoe right under my feet. I move, cancel the raise, try to run away from those hawks and eventually die right next to the other three. BUT WAIT. MY LOGOGRAM! It immediately picks me up off the floor and I come back to life in front of all three of these dead guys out of nowhere, like a phoenix born anew, no aggro from anything, free, just existing as a Samurai who wants to save people.

I let out a sigh of relief in say and thank the 12 for my logogram and start to raise people. They're absolutely grateful, and I feel like an absolute BAMF as I shout that I am the clutchest Samurai to ever exist. I really thought I'd hate Eureka before I tried it, but that's the most fun--and most important--I've ever felt in a really long time.

I see a bard using "The Warden's Paean" int heir opener.

Me "please don't use it, it's for cleansing debuffs you can cleanse"
    Them "Ok"

We wipe because the bard joined into a suzu ex farm without knowing even 1 mechanic.

Next round: They still use it in their opener.

Every time i see bards using Paean as part of their rotation, i will forever cry.

Part fun story part complaining about the synch system:

Yesterday I queued for 70 dungeons Roulette as a bard, and ended in Skalla. My bard is roughly iLvl 390, and I believe I was synched down to 370 or something along those lines. I was with another Bard, a new healer and a Warrior with a 290 weapon but overall iLvl relevant gear (320-330 or such) to this dungeon.
I absolutely ripped agro on every single target. And the poor War was doing their job, they never swapped out of Defiance, they used a lot of Domination / agro combos. They were doing small packs, the healer was keeping up (plus healing me a lot too). In the end no one died, but I felt so sorry because I tried to underplay a bit and I saw the WAR trying to get back the mobs everytime.

So please : fix level synch (and bard agro) :')

If he had said he needed a minute I would have waited, but he went AFK a lot without a word each time, but we did eventually clear so there's that at least.
Well, it's easier to ressurect than constantly heal a depleting health bar

ran into too many limitless blues on trials where half the dps were in ironworks and had some 290 jewelry piece on that let them get in, the wipes due to dps checks were amazing

My oldest son and my daughter needed some help getting leveled to do the next step in the MSQ. So I grabbed my SCH and did a leveling roulette with them. Ended up with the Manor and got a silent sprout tank.

No big deal, I can deal with newbies. Even if I have to show them every direction they need to take - even if they seem to ignore my polite requests to use overpower. I'll even walk back to the entrance because by the time we finished the second boss, I came to the conclusion they weren't reading chat. No big deal. Hell, I got my kids their level, mission accomplished.

I waited around while my two offspring unlocked Stone Vigil in the MSQ so I could help them. My son was the party leader, so I let him cue us.

Hey wait, this doesn't look like Stone Vigil... why are we in Manor again? Ah well, maybe this Paladin is better than the last guy... yah look, he uses Flash. Oh crap, he can't hold aggro. Oh my god, the aggro control is bad.

Don't panic, have the daughter on the Black Mage adjust tactics midway through by using sleep on adds instead of AE's. Got through it mostly painlessly after that.

Gotta say.. that was a first. A first I wouldn't of had to go through if my 19 year old hadn't been a n00b that didn't know you have to clear the previous selection in the duty finder when cuing up

Ran Sastasha last night with my fiance to get his new alt through the queue. He's THM, so I rolled AST for the instant pop. Went in with a monk and a fresh gladiator. Monk was great, I tanked most of the dungeon and just dealt with being occasionally interrupted during casting since the tank didn't want to use anything but the riot blade combo. No flash, no shield lob, no provoke. Only riot blade.

We cleared the dungeon fine since it's just Sastasha, but yeesh.
