Not exactly upset but I’m more annoyed with how you present topics while giving off a condescending tone. It’s a forum for discussion and certainly everyone is entitled to their opinion, you just have a way of not really discussing but more dismissing. So I figure at this point you just create topics you know people will respond to, thus why I called you a troll. Whenever you are asked to back up your argument, you just say there is a language Barrier and drop the subject.

Well, it isn't discriminatory but it is exclusioanry, considering it only allows you to play as one gender to play a race, and that the femenine beautiful race is only female, and the big huge burly masculine race is male only, which, intentionated or not, gets into the topic of sexism and gender identity which is an extremely hot topic this days. If it had been male viera and female hrotgar, I dont think sexism would have been used as an argument, considering it would be the other way arround gender roles. I dont mean to say the races are sexist, but if you show the 2 trailers to someone they will almost for sure say they are, specially after seeing the female viera racial "armor" and the male hrotgar HUGE body

    Not quite.

    sexism

    noun
    noun: sexism
prejudice, stereotyping, or discrimination, typically against women, on the basis of sex.

in this there is no Prejudice, Stereotyping or Discrimination on the basis of sex.

If Scholar was locked to female only characters that would be sexist, but having a female only fairy isn't in and of itself sexist.

Except if we go by the actual definition of sexist, these races being one gender each is not sexist. There's no discrimination going on based on gender. There's no prejudice going on. None of that is happening. It's just a keyword people seem to throw around to garner attention. Does it suck that we only have these genders? Sure. But it's not sexist and people need to stop throwing that word around like it's applicable to this situation.

Technically the Viera design being "all girly" and the Hrothgar being "strong and beastly" could be argued as being sexist stereotyping. But it only really presents because they are placed together, if either or both were a full race, this argument would collapse. Its why its borderline or suggested rather than clear blatant sexism.

No, that isn't sexism. That's following gender norms. Not to mention that viera were already created before this game. To say that it's sexist because they are implemented exactly how they appear in Final Fantasy XII is laughable at best.

I appreciate your understanding, then. A lot of people throw that word around these days and have no idea what they're talking about.
