We Have Enough Short Skinny Characters

Nobody is asking for skinny short Hrothgar.

Someone is asking for a slider--in order to have something more, not less, not limited- option to make Hrothgar less tall or bulky.

We shouldn't even say Hrot are tall or bulky, they are giant!

Between the males we have:
- Lalafell, warves height and potato build;
- Miqo'te, short but fit;
- Midlander, average height and body;
- Highlander: tall and muscly;
- Elezen: giant but thin (could consider them skinny)
- Roegadyn: giant and hulk build (could consider them bulky)
- Hrothgar: giant and beastly.

If they give character creation a pair of deeper sliders like height and weight it wouldn't take anything from you but it will give everyone more.

That said it's not going to happen and you could've answered in that same thread.

I 'liked' this but it's more like "this is sadly close to becoming a reality" and it completely defeats the purpose of a forum format - keeping a discussion on a topic in one clearly labeled thread.

People talk about the Japanese forum doing this like it's some kind of revelation that you might keep all the discussion on a subject in one thread, or post in a relevant subforum instead of sticking everything in General Discussion.

Sadly more than once people have stated that they only made a new thread because of a few reasons one of them not using a search. I know I read one where the op later posted they made their own thread because they didn't want their thoughts and opinions to be swallowed or lost in the sea of posts in one of the bigger threads. Then there's reactions to necro-bumping things on the NA side of things. Though some of the more recent ones are about problems that aren't really problems anymore and thus lack of research was done.

We finally got Viera, but I would be -SO- happy if they gave us Concept Au Ra women. I'm still desperate for a large, female beast race. The males are on point, why did they cute-ify the girls into anime waifus? I wanted an intimidating type of woman besides Roe (I already have two).

I find many people suffer from distorted perceptions, to the point that anything that isn't Roegadyn is "twinky" or "skinny", even though that would probably include someone like the Mountain.

That said, I'd also love for more sliders and options to do with builds, as unlikely as that is to ever happen.

I feel like this could be solved by having height sliders provide a larger range for height. Also, each race having two clans, one could be shorter than the other..

My complaint with the Hrothgar is that they look virtually IDENTICAL to the Roegadyn, at least in the initial trailer. They're clearly based on Kimahri from FFX, though, who is tall and muscular, but more "lean" than "bulky" (unlike the Roegadyn, who are just bulky).

I *LOVE* the idea of a monstrous, beastly sort of race, and I've been pitching the idea of something like that since the game launched. But in that initial trailer they showed off, they just looked really "off". Especially their tails; they looked so big and chubby, it looked goofy.

Again, I just want to see them bring the race closer to how Kimahri looked. Tall and muscular, but lean. More muscular than the Au Ra, but less "bulky" than the Roegadyn.
